Our parrots are raised in my home for your home! Here at The Parrot Place On The Ridge we either hand raise or individually order each bird from within our nationwide breeder organization. We then work with each bird and you, so that it is well socialized and trained. Our goal is to provide you with the proper nurturing guidance techniques so that you have a well-behaved, loving, life-long pet. Our personal touch is evident with every bird we sell. We are not a breeder or a pet store!

We are able to help you make the best bird selection for your family. And, after the sale, we are willing to help you to get the most enjoyment from your new-feathered companion. We not only help you select your bird, we can help in the following areas as well:

  1. How to prepare for your bird in advance and how to take delivery.
  2. How to select the proper sized cage and what to put in it.
  3. How to select the right diet and water for your bird and what foods to be aware of.
  4. How to protect your bird from extreme temperatures, harmful plants, and other pets.
  5. How to keep your bird healthy and in a sanitary cage and environment.
  6. How to train your bird, and form a loving, long lasting, bond.
  7. How to find out more about parrots, what books to read, and what websites can offer useful and helpful information.
